The 13th FESTIVAL OF THE DAYS OF AFRICA, DANCES AND RHYTHMS OF THE WORLD
will take place from July 30th till August 3rd, 2008 under the sign of "The Meeting and Friendship" will present a variety of activities which will please all tastes. Music, dance, and animation, besides the Carnival of Continents are on the menu.

Quebec will vibrate during five days to the sounds of the most furious rhythms. On the Loto-Quebec scene in Place D`Youville you will hear SELASEE from Ghana HAKIM SALHI the big singer of Algeria Rai GROUPE SYNCOP, ZALE SECK from Senegal MULOLO PLUS from Congo SHAKAAL and Jungle King Sound System from Quebec. In the second scene, Arrondissement de LA CITÉ, also called the Square of the Saint Roch Church , we shall present the singer of Jamaican origin, DADDYRUSHY, WES`LI from Haiti, Group SAMENSA from Mauritius, MOLAMIZIK without forgetting the talented MAD`MOI ZELE GIRAF from Quebec and NEW GENERATION CHOIR of Montreal.

Besides concerts in the evening, The "Festival of The Days of Africa" will organize activities such as
5 - 7, full of animation and the tasting of exotic dishes, projection of films, workshops of dance and percussion and well as exhibitions.
